ABOUT the WORKSHOP
Come join us for a
day of fun, great still life painting, and no fail art! Extensive
floral still life set-ups will provide inspiration for artists to Focus
on Florals. To begin the day, Judy Webber will do a one hour
presentation and watercolor demonstration, followed by thirty minutes of
artist warm-up sketches with the participants. We will discuss
structure of plants and flowers as simple shapes and forms, whether
painted realistically or as part of a floral design. Focus on Florals
provides the entire afternoon for intensive watercolor painting with
individual attention from the teacher. You are encouraged to bring a
camera to take pictures of the still life set-ups! Let this great day
of painting continue for days to come!
Note: Lunch
from 11:30-12:30 is on your own (or bring a sack lunch).

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Judy Webber has spent her entire life involved
in the arts, particularly visual art. She has a Bachelors/Masters in
Art and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. University certified
in Web Design and in Graphic Design, she is an independent contractor in
web design, graphics, art, and education, as well as a watermedia
artist.
Watercolor is Judy's media of choice although she also enjoys acrylics,
mixed media, and watermedia collage. Her style and technique ranges
from very realistic, transparent glaze watercolor painting to whimsical,
fantasy watercolor works in exuberant colors on paper or watercolor
